The Club House boasts a newly refurbished large communal hall ideally suited for guests wanting to relax after a hard days hiking or mountain biking on the South Downs or a place for multi family gatherings or even business or cultural events.
The super fast wifi ( 500 mbps) and the 75inch smart tv will ensure great entertainment eg karaoke or just a fab family movie nights.
Some 20+ guests can stay in the seven ensuite bedrooms.
The large newly built communal kitchen with its' new range cooker means guests can either create their own great meals - there's a Waitrose a mile down the road.
And finally, mountain bikers need not worry about where to store their bikes as a super secure bike storage area is being built. and cozy common areas foelaxing after a day outdoors.

HOW TO FIND US
We are a few hundred metres down the hill from Eastbourne Downs Golf Club on East Dean Road.
There's a bus stop ( 'Youth Hostel' ) on our doorstep. Frequent buses - Nos 12 and 13 - run from Eastbourne Station to Brighton Station.
There's also a public car park next to our site and a bridleway runs along our site boundary, for those arriving by horse... The bridleway leads directly to the South Downs Way.

Check in, check out times?
Check in is 3pm . Check out is 11am.
These are the normal times to give us an opportunity to clean up for the next guests.
Payment and deposit policies
For families and individuals, full payment is required at the time of the booking.
For groups booking the whole hostel as an exclusive hire more than 12 weeks in advance a 20% deposit of the whole fee is required to secure the booking. The remaining full balance is required 8 weeks before the arrival date.
A group booking made within 12 weeks of the arrival date can be held for 7 days as a provisional booking but full payment is needed 8 weeks before the arrival date.
Cancellation and refund policies?
For families and individuals, an 80% refund will be given if notice is given by 12 noon the day before arrival. No refund is available if notice is given after 12 noon the day before arrival or if there is a no show.
For group bookings of the whole hostel as an exclusive hire, cancellation or amendments must be emailed to the hostel.
Cancellation charges are as follows:
If cancellation is 56 days or more before arrival, the deposit is charged.
If cancellation is 28-55 days before arrival, 50% of the total cost of the booking is charged
If cancellation is 0-27 days before arrival, 100% of the total cost of the booking is charged.
Security and door codes?
Entrance to the main door of the hostel is with a door code.
The door code is set for each guest booking or group booking.
Any extra charges?
There is a charge of £10 per night per dog.
There is a charge of £50 per night for the wood for the fire pit and £20 for wood for the BBQ.
Accessibility?
The hostel is on one level.
Door width allows for wheelchair access.
Room 4 has an accessible bathroom and the communal bathroom in the main hall is accessible.
There is a long sloping path from the car park to the hostel with 6 steps.
With notice, ramps can be placed to ease wheelchair access.
